threatens to beat MUTHAMA and WETANGULA
The political rivalry between Nairobi Governor,
Dr Evans Kidero, and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga came out in public on
Tuesday morning, after the besieged Nairobi Governor stormed out of a closed
door meeting organized by CORD leader Raila Odinga.
According to our moles who attended the meeting, Kidero who
had turned up for the meeting as early as 9 am disagreed with his party boss
after reports emerged that his association with President Uhuru Kenyatta is one
of the agendas to be discussed by ODM party members.
Kidero, who is known to have a heavily built body and a no
nonsense man, was furious and even threatened to beat Machakos Senator,
Johnstone Muthama and former Bungoma Senator, Moses Wetangula, who kept on
insisting that his association with Uhuru must be one of the many agendas to be
discussed by members during a CORD Parliamentary Group Meeting which is ongoing
at Orange House.
It took the intervention of Raila’s bouncers (hired private
security) who stopped Kidero from raining blows on Muthama and Wetangula who
were shouting at him.
Kidero
later kept his cool and was seen leaving the Orange House even before the CORD
meeting started.
